This is a true story for Stories Fiction Books. A cowboy type of guy tried picking up a non cowgirl type of girl. Can’t blame him for trying. Stories of this type make my Fiction Books interesting.
A white guy on a moderately sized motorcycle did an illegal U-turn and skirted the curb. Guy tweeted his horn at a young woman, let’s call her Gal, walking on the sidewalk. Initially, she ignores him but his horn blares rudely, calling for immediate attention and attendance.
It became clear he was trying to pick up girls. In the middle of the afternoon, in a residential neighborhood. Has he been drinking? If he had, he shouldn’t be riding on a bike. That too, in a residential neighborhood where the streets were packed with slow moving traffic.
The Gal politely declined the advances of the guy, she was seen holding up her arm in a gesture of refusal. Guy was not discouraged at all. He rode on a little ahead and pulled up around the curb. He killed his motor and waited patiently for the Gal to walk up to him and his machine. Guy removed his riding helmet and ruffled his hair. He spoke to the Gal again but she gestured a refusal again.
Eventually, the Guy went astride his machine and rode off. He didn’t ride off into the sunset but rather, he tried his luck with a line of girls. The Gals were waiting in line at a store. Guy tweeted his horn loudly. The women turned to look at him and then deliberately gave him the snub by turning away from his direction.
The women weren’t exactly very beautiful but the guy wasn’t picky. He was high and looking for a partner.
The Guy gave up and rode off. He would be trying his luck at another intersection of streets where there were women.
Do you see this kind of pick-up in your neighborhood?
